Gulf Restoration Fund

Recent events in the Gulf highlight the fragile nature of Florida's magnificent fishery and marine environment. The Wildlife Foundation of Florida has launched the Gulf Restoration Fund to ensure the long-term restoration of these precious ecosystems, impacted fish and wildlife, and marine habitats.
The Fund will allow us to:
1. Restore and maintain the Gulf marine habitat and ecosystems to ensure
long-term survival of the fish and wildlife that rely on it.
2. Create a statewide network of hatcheries to ensure we have the
short-term and long-term ability to replenish the economically critical
marine fishery stocks.
3. Fund the ecosystem research and modeling that enables scientists and
marine resource agencies and managers to understand and prioritize
restoration efforts.
4. Create "The Next Generation that Cares(sm)" through focused efforts to
engage the youth of Florida in directly experiencing, enhancing, and
providing long-term understanding and appreciation for the unique natural
resources of Florida.
Please join our efforts to ensure that Florida's marine environment is there for future generations to enjoy.
